Energy and Re-energizing
September 5, 2011
This month is about energy and reenergizing. It seems every direction I turn, somebody I meet is ready to move after being stagnant or stressed. Join me today in pulling out that exercise equipment and using it at whatever speed and level you can – any added movement in your day keeps you from snacking and burns a few calories. Even marching in place for 5 minutes is a good way to burn calories and the higher you bring your knee determines how much muscle you will build. Singing a song while you do this can make it very stress relieving.
Hats!
July 11, 2011
So last week we talked about shoes – let’s go the other direction - HATS! Have you noticed, for women, hats are coming back into vogue – casual and dress. There are very few closets now equipped for these items back with feminine fury. We are not talking caps – although for tennis I certainly do wear them. So my suggestion is, if you have one or two, certainly a hook would do your work for you. However, if you have started to accumulate several to many hats, it is the hat box that will solve the organizational issue. These can be decorative and stacked in your bedroom, dressing room or even your living area in that odd corner. Or clear a shelf from the clutter in your closet that you have not looked at or worn in forever and put in what you now sport on any given day. Once again I remind you that if you have it, you must accommodate it!
July: Get Mobilized
July 1, 2010
In June, we took you on a journey through vacation land. We prepared you to take some time off and organized you for your break.
In July, as receivers of our newsletter know (sign up here!), Create New Order will be motivating you to mobilize your business and organize the vehicle that gets you there!

You May
May 3, 2010
In April, we got all “spring clean”ed up. We took a Tour de Closets, gave pointers for controlling allergies, “greened up” our workplace– we even shared a favorite secret weapon for hard-to-clean places. We took a look inward as well, to do some mental spring cleaning. After a big clean out month, we’re feeling ready for what May has to offer.
If you read this month’s newsletter (visit our website to subscribe), you know this month’s focus is growth and the great outdoors. It’s time to grow your business with May marketing and also, time to lay the groundwork that will let you enjoy your play time all season. Stay tuned for the first May post coming later today!

March On
March 1, 2010
With three short weeks until spring, we are (finally!) feeling winter coming to an end. The days are getting longer, the gray haze is starting to lessen and everything feels a little lighter. We are getting ready to re-emerge from the hibernation that the cold weather makes all too easy.
In February, we celebrated Photo & Image Month here at Create New Order. We helped you tackle photo organization once and for all in our monthly project and encouraged you to share that process with loved ones. We also gave you solutions for common personal image issues from beards to “bumps” as well as advice for sprucing up your company’s image online and in person.
If you subscribe to our newsletter (click here to preview and visit our website here to sign up), you know that Create New Order will be dealing with the starting and finishing of projects this month and, more importantly, offering motivation to keep you going on those projects.
This month, look forward to:
- our Monthly Project, including a weekly guide on how to start and finish a project as well as tried-and-true tips for keeping your eye on the prize,
- solutions for common time-wasters, featured in Jennifer Answers,
- tactics for project planning and project management in Business Sense,
- ways to enjoy your Free Time in March, including an incredible art show opening this Saturday,
- and naturally, Something Good on Wednesdays to get you over the hump!
Stay tuned for the first post in March’s Monthly Project series, coming later this morning.
